Welcome to the Shoutbox!
The Shoutbox allows you to send and receive instant messages. Here's how to use it:
Sending a Message
Type your message in the text input field and click the Send button (with the paper plane icon) to post it. You can also use the following keyboard shortcuts:
Press [Enter] to send [Shift] + [Enter] to add a line break Bold (CTRL+B) Italic (CTRL+I) Underline (CTRL+U)
Messages Display Order
Latest messages are displayed at the top while older messages are displayed at the bottom.
Message Length
Messages have a maximum length of 500 characters. If your message exceeds this length, you will be prompted to shorten it before sending.
Viewing Older and Newer Messages
Scroll to the top to view older messages, or to the bottom to view newer ones. These actions trigger on-demand requests, so they won't be affected by the polling frequency discussed below.
Message Updates
New messages are fetched automatically based on a polling frequency of 30 seconds and will appear shortly thereafter.
Flood Protection
To avoid spamming, you must wait 5 seconds before sending another message. Please be patient!
User Permissions
You may need to log in to view and/or send messages. Admins may have configured which usergroups can view and send messages.
Shoutbox Etiquette
Be respectful and follow the community rules. Inappropriate behavior may result in a warning or ban.
Pruning Old Messages
Messages older than 500 day(s) will be automatically deleted to keep the Shoutbox clean, organized, and free from clutter.
Resizing the Message Input
The Message input automatically grows as you type. But you can also manually resize the message input box vertically to fit your needs. Simply drag the bottom-right corner of the input area to expand or shrink the box. This allows you to type longer messages more comfortably.

Derek, discovered that Shipspotting.nl is offline for some time now and ShipsNostalgia showing the Welcome page only... you can click on a vessels photo, being shown the "data tree" and nothing else... 2 other good sites gone for good ?

Good evening from wet and cold Hamburg... am back home, but got no time as I invested in a new TV for our kitchen... now a "Smart TV", tested it by viewing "Becoming Led Zeppelin" on Netflix but did upload for Kent his 478 GB out of his broken HDD in the OneDrive Cloud, uploading still ongoing for him to view and download
