Grounding off Kolding
On Mar 15, 2016, around 8 p.m. the "Hekla" ran aground at Drejens Odde in the Kolding Fjord on the way into the port of Kolding. The cause of the grounding was unknown
The ship seemed to have suffered a leak and remained aground until a salvage plan has been approved
She had sailed from IJmuiden on Mar 13.
