Once again I used Google to tranlate a lot of danish words into some understandable, (hopefully), english for you to read....:
Although the UN World Organisation for weather and climate, WMO, has just announced that the year 2013 is well on its way to becoming one of the ten warmest years since records began recording measurements back in 1850, there is cold news from England.
Meteorologist James Madden from Exacta Weather says to the Daily Express, the word that best describes the coming months is terrible and that many parts of the British Isles, will experience extreme weather to a degree not seen before.
- We get to experience an exceptionally long period of cold which extends well into the spring. Moreover, we will see snowfalls like the ones we saw in December 2010 - the period of snow just keeps longer, resulting overall in a weather scenario that is not seen worse in modern times, sounds from Madden, who predicts more cold and precipitation records in January.
Daily Express have also talked to meteorologist Jonathan Powell from Vantage Weather Services that predicts the worst winter in 20-30 years.
What do you guys think...? WIll it be a hard, Long, cold winter this year with a lot of ice in the Baltics and the inner Waters of DK...?
Have you got a guess, clue or sign which tells you how the winter will be, please share it with us...? Any of you who still can remember the old times "weather-forecasting-sign and saying"...?
