Several Danish ports were hit by flooding in the wake of the storm Bodil on Friday. The high tide created problems for many ferry routes, but the traffic in most places fully resumed on Saturday. Many yachts that still lay in the water were hit especially hard.
These pictures, taken by F?rgeGalleriet.dk, shows the damage to the port of Gilleleje where the water level rose by 2 meters. At least ten yachts have sunk or been destroyed by the storm.
The North Zealand coasts and fjords are among the hardest hit, but also elsewhere, the storm surge created major damage.
There are no reports of major damage to the professional shipping.
