    ''Coral Ivory' in collision with freighter 'Siderfly'

    Coral Ivory in collision with freighter Siderfly south of Kudensee ferry point

    Kiel Canal was completly closed after collision of freighter
    'Siderfly' with gas tanker 'Coral Ivory' south of Kudensee in the
    early morning at abt. 3 am (Oct. 28) in the south part of the canal.

    Both lock pairs in Kiel and Brunsb?ttel are closed.
    Tugs Wolf, Luchs and Parat are assisting 'Siderfly'.
    Siderfly has a water ingress, according to NDR radio she is
    probably sinking.
    The less damaged tanker was moored at Brunsb?ttel bunkering station.
