Dramatic rescue at Skagen

A Swedish fishing boat with two crew members ran aground early Sunday morning south of the eastern lighthouse at Skagen. The situation developed when the cutter began to take in water and was lopsided. Skagen Rescue Station was sent to help pump water out of the ship.
The Navy Operational Command was at 6:30 Sunday morning announced that a fishing boat had gone aground and took in water. When the lifeboat arrived, it was determined that it was necessary to evacuate the two men who were aboard the boat.
During the evacuation a crew member and a rescuer were swept into water. It was managed to get them both aboard the boat again, after which they will be evacuated by helicopter. All involved were rescued ashore, and are under the circumstances well.
