    IN BRIEF: The container ship MSC Flaminia, in the summer of 2012 caught fire in the Atlantic, has once again left Fayardv?rftet at Odense Steel. The last hazardous waste, the remains of burnt-out containers and fused scrap has been removed and the ship is now on its way to Romania.

    The cinder container arrived in late November 2013 to Odense Steel Shipyard, where NORD, the former Municipality of Chemistry, removing and destroying about 25,000 tonnes of hazardous waste in cooperation with the shipyard Fayard and HJ Hansen recoverable. The task has a total value of 50 million dollars.

    The waste consisted mainly of many common products that have been in the cargo holds and containers. They were classified as dangerous because they have been exposed to a fire.
