      In a way you are "spot on" Jan....:
      The red ribbon on black background was used in the first 100 years until 1967, where they added the white Maltese cross on a blue background into the middle of the red ribbon on the black funnel....
      Hope you understand what I?m trying to explain, but when I read the text I wrote to you I my self wonder what I mean by my words.... But I find it hard to find other words to explain it correctly... but perhaps you as a native speaker of English could explain it in a simpler way...?
