    Cementina IMO 5067077

The veteran cement carrier CEMENTINA sailed from Howdendyke early this morning (04/04/13) bound for Ghent, presumably for breaking up. She had been detained at Howdendyke since arriving on 22/12/12. Another good looking ship gone but she had a long life of 53 years.

      Hi Guys,,
Had the Pleasure of taking her down the River in the early hours of this morning, The crew remained on board thought her stay at Howdendyke and kept all machinery ect in tip-top condition even though they knew of her fate,Very sorry to see her go, after all shes only 53 years old, I have Taken her to Howdendyke on about one hundred and fifty trips, the crews were exceptional and we always had a laugh and good time on board,,

      Regards to all Dan.........
