1953-1979: Pilot Tender for Port Phillip Sea Pilots, Australia.

1979-2004: Training ship for the Australian Maritime College.

2004-Present: Sold to Mineralogy Pty Ltd of Brisbane for possible use as an accommodation vessel in the Pilbara and later sold for possible conversion for use as a luxury yacht. Neither venture had been progressed.

WYUNA remains laid up in Launceston.

Hi Tobias.

It is really a shame that this vessel is not looked after.
At one stage she was also owned by Clive Palmer, one of the mining tycoons in Queensland.
There have been many plans, unfortunately she is rotting away since few years now and the spot there is a graveyard for a number of ships.

Here are some photos I took some months ago as well as few from one of the drydockings I attended at the time.
She used the synchrolift in Launceston, mostly once every 2 years.
