So Sorry to hear of peters passing he will be missed very much for his dedication and knowledge of ships and shipping he answered my guess on where's this only last week its hard to take in he is no longer with us.
My thoughts and prayers are with his wife and family at this sad time god bless pete you will be missed by many.

I am saddened to learn of the passing of Pete who became a great pen pal to me, down under. Fortunately in my youth I had the opportunity to spend time in Pete ?s part of the world, Norwich, and so we were able to chat about changes that have occurred there over the years . Although I had not known him for very long I will miss his notes to me .

yesterday evening with no internet access. Firstly we were in Southampton till evening of the 9th,
then in cycling in Holland from the afternoon of the 10th.

Back from vacation, I had to learn the news of the death of our friend Peter.
I will miss his friendly manner, his auxiliary readiness to help and his specialist knowledge very much.
God's blessing, rest in peace.
