1945 Steam Tug TID 164 restoration

I thought members might enjoy this video I made this week, aboard the steam tug TID 164, alongside the quay wall at Chatham Historic Dockyard. The tug was built as one of a class of 182 small tugs, for wartime service in the UK and abroad.

Renamed HERCULES in 1975, International Towing

Reverted to TID 164 on sale to Martin Stevens in 1978

Now restored and lying on the Medway
