Received more news yesterday evening from Harbour Master & Pilot vessel not now sailing on first sea Trials until early March. Attached photogragh taken yesterday.

Have just heard from Capt Hoad the Harbour Master due to sail on her first sea trials on the 5th March for 5 days and due to sail for her home port on the 18th at 16.45 hrs plenty of light for taking photies will keep advised.Comment

Ship left Appledore and saw her crossing the Bideford Bar just after 6 am for her first sea trials due to return pm Monday 9th. Sorry no photograghs.Comment

Watching vessel on AISs yesterday and Friday see she has been doing over 24 knots which is quiet good. Headlines in local paper website Massive Warship Spotted of Ilfracombe this this a headline worthy of the Sun. Still due to return Monday pm in darkness.Comment

The vessel returned to Appledore yesterday evening after trials in the Bristol Channel and is due to sail for her home port on the 18th. MarchComment

The word on the ground back at base is hand-over on the 19th, if everything is signed off to satisfaction over the next week. Do'nt forget its a National Holiday on the 17th in the Republic of Ireland (St.Patricks Day) and there is the small matter of the remainaing ships crew being transferred over to Appledore to sail the ship back to the Naval Base.
