A Merry Christmas to all off you
To every and each one of you who is visitting CR I send all my best and warmest wishes hoping that you?ll have a very Merry Christmas just like the ones we all can remember having in our childhood... I hope most of you are together with your love-ones during the Hollidays, but this site being a shipping-site and being a former sailor my self I also know, that some of you are away from your families on duty on board a vessel somewhere in the World, at sea or in port.... All my thoughts and prayers go to you and I hope that you?ll be able to celebrate and to let that special feeling of joy and praise that Christmas gives to all people no matter where they are....
My kindest regards and greetings to you all

Happy and healthy new year
Good evening all.
I would like to wish you all a very happy and above all healthy new year as we are all or most of us anyway are getting to the age where health seems to be getting more of an issue as each day passes us by.
All the best for 2014..
Peter...I only went to sea to go Ashore.
These days when ashore i want to be at Sea.Comment

Thank you for 2013 and a varm welcome to 2014 & I wish you all a very Happy New Year
I would like to thank you all of you for your contributions in the year 2013 to our common hobby and interest here aboard Coasters Remembered . </SPAN>
We are all members of a small but very important part of the community we have created here on the Internet. We are many different people, come from many countries and from many disciplines and different social classes in our own respective communities , but we have at least one overriding common interest , and that is the simple that we love ships, we love the marine environment and we are especially crazy with coasters of all kinds. I want to thank you all because you for signing up here at CR, and also by contributing with uploads on our site, you all are helping to preserve our memories and historical knowledge about these wonderful ships to our descendants ....
They say popular , " that in 100 years everything is forgotten " and it is , too, very true in many cases , but it should not apply to vessels and / or their history and our community will help prevent the oblivion mist settles of memories of life at sea ... So I thank you every one of you out there , thank you for your presence here , thank you because we met here and thanks for a wonderful year with you here in 2013. </SPAN>
I am not very familiar with each of you in here, but I hope that I get to know you all through the years together in here. At least we have a super good starting point in the great interest that we all share about ships/coaster/seamanslife and maritime-related lifestyles in common... Having this in common.
To have this in common gives us after all a whole lot of issues to discuss with each other and it may well open up to talk about other things in our lives too. I would be delighted if we gradually get to know more of the content in each other's lives and culture of the many countries that we each come from. It must be my wish for the coming year 2014.
In closing, I would very much like to wish each of you a really good, happy and blessed New Year 2014. I wish you and your loved ones that you may have a fantastic good year where you get fulfilled all your wishes and expectations that you may have here and now of the old year's end.
HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL OF YOU.
With warm greetings to all of you no matter where you are on this evening.
To all of you performing your work on this night and this night I shall express my particular gratitude for a job well done and I wish you a pleasant and quiet watch.
Kind regards to all of you
Kent

Happy New Year
Hi Kent, well said, thanks for this, like a true Viking
Meanwhile I nearly have a full day behind me whilst most of you are just about finding their ways to the medicine cupboard in order to treat some sore heads.
Wishing you all a very happy 2014 and hopefully we do get many more "maritime" stories to share on this forum.
Best regards from Down Under,
JanComment
